A sweet and (in my opinion) scary story of young adults and their friendships with strangers. This is the first Aaron Katz (Nights & Weekends 2008, Quiet City 2007, Dance Party, USA 2006) movie I've seen. I'd like to see the others. The characters in Cold Weather are wonderfully believable. The story relies on dialog, expression, and beautiful photography rather than pyrotechnics and airborne vehicles. There is drinking, but no drugs; even the tiny bit of nudity is indirect.

We just got home. Never has a film produced such anger inside me as this awful movie. I refuse to go into the details, only to say if you ignore my review and go see it, you deserve the pain you are going to endure. Possibly the the worst script, acting, plot and certainly the ending, (if you want to call it that), I've ever seen. On more than one occasion, I had to control myself, as I wanted to yell at the obscenities screen. I have sat through some bad films in my life, and have to say this is the worst. The main character is so dis-likable that I was hoping he would be killed off in the first 15 minutes. Spare yourself. DON'T GO!

Cold Weather is by far the worst movie of the season (so far). I like Aaron's previous work but this film is such a waste of time and money. Don't bother with it. Utterly disappointing.

I was hopeful that there would be something about this movie to make it worth the 6 bucks but NO! Really boring, low budget, story line very weak. I feel sorry for those involved in making this thing.
